Certified Financial Planner

Mounir Ghaly, (You may call me MG), has 20 years’ experience in banking and finance where he managed portfolios in excess of $600 million.  MG has also worked on international investments and government relations for large US corporations. He has strong cross-industry knowledge in Technology, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Resource Development, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Real Estate. MG lived and worked in 5 countries over 4 continents. For the past four years, he has dedicated his career to personal financial planning, helping his clients to work toward financial goals in retirement, building personal wealth, legacy planning, and children’s education.

MG is a Certified Financial Planner ™ having earned the CFP® designation. The designation requires 1000 hours of studies, passing comprehensive testing that examines all aspects of personal financial planning, and is bound to the highest ethical standards of the industry. MG’s motivation when he gets up to go to work every day is the happy stories he hears from his clients because things went right.  He is a firm believer that diversifying investments in your portfolio, achieves better returns than chasing trendy stocks and trying to time the ups and downs of the market. With new clients, MG will spend 3-4 hours just to get to know them (spread over a couple of sessions) before beginning to craft a financial plan. This provides the strong foundation for building all future planning; the point being as tall buildings need to stand on sound foundations, so does financial planning. MG is active in sports and is active in US Masters Swimming in Clearwater, FL.

All investing involves risk including loss of principal. No strategy assures success or protects against loss. There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.
